Can anyone help? Stuck a bit.?
Describe the anatomical and functional similarities and differences within each of the following pairs of structures. A. Artery vein b. .. Small intestine colon c. .. Skeletal muscle of the heart muscle d. .. NOTE anterior pituitary posterior pituitary ..: No, this is not my task. This was an essay question to return to the path of Biology and wondered how I could answer that if I have something like this.
an artery and vein are similar because both pump blood, but the arteries going to the destination from the center to release its oxygen while veins are from the destination back to the heart for more oxygen. that are made out of muscular arteries, but are much more muscular and pump blood to itself them while the veins are thinner and extensible, and based on the muscles that surround and initial blood flow to return to the heart small intestine and colon are similar because they both absorb nutrients as ever, the small intestine is wet, while the colon is not. small intestine are very long, while two points are very short. In addition, there is more bacteria in the colon to help absorb nutrients remaining in the waste. skeletal and cardiac muscle, both to help the parties the body move, but theyr'e different body parts. skeletal support every move of the body while the heart muscle is only for the heart, as its name implies. cardiac muscle in general, needs more oxygen because it is the hardest working muscle in your body. im not sure on the last, sorry, but just go read about what each does and how they generally do the same, but also do different things. Hope this helps!
