What were the differences between the three colonial regions geographically?

As it was difficult or easy to grow in region? Or how climate change that conflicts in , Region, etc. anything you can think there were differences (in each colony) on time or soil, or nature throughout the world, really.

The colony of New England was very cold and did not have fertile soil. It was good for fishing and timber. The colony of Jamestown was a good land for growing tobacco snuff. The South has a climate ideal for growing cotton and sugar crops.
