The evil empire. The history of the British colony?

I saw this movie and could not take the idea of this movie. In terms man slides in May someone help me understand. It was a documentary of the British colony, but did not really understand the colony of Virginia the Caribbean and New England and what happened. Slavery really appreciated, but I'm so lost.

What was the name of the movie? The evil empire? I can not find anything online with that name. Maybe you have the wrong name ....?
